The worldwide cruising area applies without time or geographical restrictions and without hurricane or cyclone exclusion clauses. Your berth does not have to be in Europe, liability cover reaches €50m in the premium tariff, and salvage ordered by the authorities is covered up to €2.5m.

What does “worldwide cruising area” actually include?
All waters, with no geographical exclusion zones and no time limit on the voyage. We do not add hurricane or cyclone exclusion clauses, so no additional securing obligations apply in storm season. If you move more than 300 nautical miles, keep the digital NAMMERT logbook.
Does my berth have to be in Europe?
No. State the berth in the application; with the worldwide cruising area it may be anywhere in the world, including outside the EU.
What does the worldwide cruising area cost?

Who helps if something happens far from home?
We do. Outside office hours our emergency line is +49 3375 29 28 95. In the Premium tariff, the Assistance cover puts you in touch with surveyors, helps source spare parts and books interpreters.
