How this website is made
Nearly everything you see and read here was produced with artificial intelligence: the text, the images, the films. That is not an accident, it is how we work, and we would rather say so than let you find out.
In short
The images and films on this website are AI generated. They show no real boats, no real marinas and no real damage, however much they look like it.
The exception is genuine photography: our colleagues, our office near Berlin, our company cars and the races we support. Those photographs are never replaced by generated ones.
The images and films
A motorboat at dusk, a jetty in fog, a torn hull: most companies buy such pictures as stock. We generate them, because that way the picture shows exactly what the text beside it is about, and because no owner has to let us photograph their damaged boat for it.
The price of that is this page. A generated image looks like a photograph, and anyone who takes it for one is mistaken about reality. That is why the notice appears here and in the footer of every page.
The text
The text is written with AI too, from the product pages to the magazine. It is read, checked and answered for by people in this office. Whatever is claimed here about cover, premium and claims handling carries our name, and we are liable for it like for any other word we write.
Where a text cites a source, the source is real and verifiable: policy wordings, statutes, figures from official surveys. Those are not generated, they are looked up.
What does not come from a machine
Premiums and tariffs are calculated by our quoting engine, not by a language model. The policy wordings are legal texts, written and reviewed. Customer reviews come from customers and are published unchanged, including the poor ones. And when you call, a person answers.

The legal basis
Article 50 of the AI Act (EU) 2024/1689 has applied since 2 August 2026. It requires artificially generated image, audio and video content to be disclosed where it resembles real persons, objects or places. For text the duty is narrower, covering matters of public interest, and it falls away where a human has reviewed the text and taken responsibility for it. We disclose more than is required, because the question is a fair one and half an answer helps nobody.
