Fletcher Sportsboats; cover, cost and conditions

Fletcher has been building light GRP sports boats in England since the sixties, and that is exactly what shapes the insurance: an Arrow or GTO weighs little but often carries a powerful outboard. The ratio of low weight to high output determines the premium more than the value of the hull does. State the engine output in kW honestly; a more powerful engine fitted later without notification is the most common reason for disputes in the event of a claim.

The second point is the trailer. Fletcher boats are rarely kept permanently in the water, they travel to the cruising area.
