Tracker Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Tracker from Missouri is the world's largest manufacturer of aluminium fishing boats and builds everything from the simple rowing boat with an engine bracket to the fully equipped bass boat. In Europe the smaller models appear as trailer boats. On aluminium fishing boats under five metres the value of the boat is often below 10,000 euros, and here the question of hull insurance arises differently: losing the boat is bearable, injuring a person is not.
That is exactly why third-party liability is the more important building block on small fishing boats. It covers injury to persons, damage to property and financial loss suffered by third parties with 10 to 50 million euros and costs from around 49 euros a year. Anyone out with rods and lead in the boat and other boats nearby carries a real liability risk; hull insurance protects your own possessions, third-party liability protects your own assets.

For Tracker: Third-party liability is the more important building block, it protects your assets.
Hull insurance is worthwhile as soon as the engine and electronics represent a considerable value;
