What counts for the classification are the details of the boat, not the name on the hull. Value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range determine the premium.

Trailers and launching are part of everyday life for many owners. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the protection also applies during craning, during launching and while in transport. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. That includes the trips between winter storage and the water.

Full hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Compensation is made at the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation. The hull insurance knows no time window and no night clause.
