Hobie Cat 16: cover, cost and conditions
The Hobie Cat 16 is registered with us as a catamaran, and in documents it occasionally appears as CAT 16. We record both spellings in the contract, so that application, purchase documents and a later claim report remain clearly assigned to the same boat.
The boat sails in our portfolio, and two further Hobie Cat models stand beside it. The premium is determined by the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range. Club regattas are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level onwards.
The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability free of charge from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
