7.6 Timely payment under a SEPA direct debit mandate, Legal Expenses Insurance, Basis Plus
Clause 7.6, Timely payment under a SEPA direct debit mandate, from Legal Expenses Insurance, Basis Plus, ARB WRS Basis Plus (1-2025nam).
German law applies; only the German wording is binding.
This English text is a courtesy so you can read what you buy, not a contract document.
Where the two differ, the German text decides:
7.6.1 If we have agreed that the premium is to be collected from an account, payment counts as timely if the premium can be collected on the due date, and you do not object to the collection. What happens if the premium due cannot be collected through no fault of yours? In this case payment is still timely if you pay without delay after a request in text form (example: letter or email). ("Without delay" does not necessarily mean "immediately", but "without culpable hesitation, that is, as quickly as possible".) 7.6.2 Ending of the direct debit procedure If you are responsible for the premium due not being collectable, we are entitled to demand a different method of payment in future. You need only pay, however, once we have requested you to do so in text form (example: letter or email).
The premium for your own boat is one page away, with a price and without a form.
