Where the two differ, the German text decides:
A-2.2.2 Type and amount of the benefit. We pay the death benefit in the amount of the agreed sum insured if the insured person dies within one year of the accident. If the insured person dies in the second year after the accident, the death benefit sum falls due only if there is no claim to the permanent impairment benefit.
