Where the two differ, the German text decides:
Our rights of rescission, cancellation and amendment of the contract lapse on expiry of five years after conclusion of the contract. These rights do not lapse for insured events that occurred before expiry of that period. The period is ten years if you or your representative breached the duty of disclosure intentionally or fraudulently. Basis, Part B, Section B4: further provisions
