Where the two differ, the German text decides:
A-2.1.1.3 Asserting the permanent impairment benefit. You must assert the permanent impairment with us within 24 months of the accident. Asserting means: you tell us that you assume a permanent impairment. If you miss this time limit, the claim to the permanent impairment benefit is excluded. Only in special exceptional cases can it be excused that you missed the time limit. Example: you suffered serious head injuries in the accident and were therefore unable to contact us.
