Where the two differ, the German text decides:
We are obliged to declare in text form within one month whether and to what extent we acknowledge our obligation to pay. In the case of the permanent impairment benefit, the time limit is three months. The time limits begin as soon as we receive the following documents: proof of how the accident happened and of the consequences of the accident; in the case of the permanent impairment benefit, additionally proof of the conclusion of the curative treatment, so far as this is necessary for assessing the degree of permanent impairment. In this connection please also observe the rules of conduct in A-6. We bear the medical fees you incur in substantiating the claim to the benefit.
