Worth knowing
Bazzerla; cover, cost and conditions
Five model ranges are recorded, among them the B 37, the Basic 920 as well as the F1-655 and F1-765 model ranges with production periods up to 2018. With motor boats and motor yachts the engine power determines a substantial part of the premium, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range.
The brand plays no part in the premium calculation. Two boats of the same size and the same power output are treated the same, whatever name is on the transom. What counts are the technical data and the cruising range in which you are under way.
Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does more powerful engine equipment affect the premium?
Yes. Engine power is one of the factors from which the premium results. The type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are added to that. The manufacturer's name stays out of it.
Does the hull cover apply at night as well?
Yes. Damage at night is treated exactly like damage during the day.

Series by Bazzerla, build years and cover
B 37 is a motor yacht from Bazzerla, built from 2010 to 2018.
Basic 920 is a motor yacht from Bazzerla, built from 2003 to 2018.
Butterfly is a motorboat from Bazzerla, built from 2010 to 2018.
F1-655 is a motorboat from Bazzerla, built from 2010 to 2018.
F1-765 is a motorboat from Bazzerla, built from 2010 to 2018.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
