Bornstream; cover, cost and conditions

Sixty model ranges are recorded under Bornstream. The list contains the Boarncruiser models as motor yachts, the Classic Line from 2001, the Retro Line from 2015 and the Lounge range from 2018, all still in production today. Anyone who puts such a yacht ashore for the winter is insured there too with NAMMERT.

Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transit. Limited hull cover additionally includes fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.

The Classic Line is recorded in two versions, the 35 and the 40 each listed twice, joined by the 37 and the 42 as Lounge models. Full hull cover is based on an agreed value and pays out with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.

Does cover also apply during the winter break ashore?

Yes. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transit. Limited hull cover separately covers damage in winter storage.

From what sum insured is an online policy no longer possible?

Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online. If the value of a Boarncruiser is above that, we assess the contract on a case-by-case basis.
