Dulkan Boats is listed with 41 models between 2.2 and 5.1 m. Twenty-two units are inflatable boats and nineteen are RIBs. The types are numbered throughout, among them the 220 RL, the 290 in D, DL, R and RL versions and the 325, 345, 370, 400 and 420. Production has run since 2011 and continues today.
Inflatables and RIBs up to around five metres are trailered, carried on board or kept in a shed. Third party liability is the base, because it covers injury to people and damage to other boats, while transport and storage can be included. Frequent questions
How do an inflatable and a RIB differ for insurance?
Barely in the cover, but clearly in the stated value: a RIB with a rigid hull is usually valued higher and carries more power. Both belong in the application accurately.
Is theft of an outboard covered?
Theft can be included as long as engine and boat appear in the stated value. A lock securing the engine to the transom is worth having as well, because it makes access harder.
