Four model ranges are recorded: the Kammin 485 and the Kammin 780 as well as the Kaliner 550 IBK and the Kaliner 560 IBL, with build years between 1977 and 1994. For the yard itself neither a country nor any closer classification is recorded; the ranges are listed as motorboats.

The data of the boat is enough for the contract. Before the contract starts we agree an agreed value and pay compensation from it with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners; small series and home-built boats can be insured as well.

Limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Beneath it lies third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

Does it matter that little is recorded about the yard?

No. What counts for the quotation and the contract is the data of your boat. From it we agree an agreed value and pay compensation in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Can a Kaliner 550 IBK from 1977 be insured?

Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
