The Voraz 450, 505, 505 Libre and 660 ranges were built between 2000 and 2019 as motor boats. Anyone taking over such a boat today buys it used. For full hull cover, an agreed value is therefore set which reflects the replacement value and applies in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Four model ranges over some two decades mean different years of construction in the fleet. The year of construction enters into the premium alongside the type of boat, value, engine power and cruising range; the brand itself never does. In the Premium tariff the age limit for full hull cover no longer applies, so that older boats also keep full hull protection.
The basis of every policy is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online; above that we assess the individual case. You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.

How is the value of a Voraz boat bought used determined?
When the policy is taken out we agree an agreed value. This amount is paid in the event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation, regardless of how many previous owners the boat has had.
Does it matter that production of these ranges lies in the past?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, including in winter storage, during craning and on the road.
