The AMT range covers 22 models built since 2004, almost all motor boats. The line is closely stepped and uses version suffixes: 150 R, 160 R, 165 BR, 175 BR and BRf, the 190 in BR, BRf, R and Rf versions, the 210 BR and DC and the 215 PH. Lengths run from 4.5 to 6.9 metres.
Trailerability is the central point when insuring an AMT. Every model is under seven metres and therefore of trailerable size, so liability forms the basis and road transport can be added to the hull cover. On the larger boats in the line value and cruising area should still be stated accurately, because they are also used in coastal waters. For the early model years from 2004 an agreed value creates clarity.

Is trailer transport of an AMT 190 BR covered?
Road transport can be added to the hull cover. On AMT boats under seven metres that is usual when the boat is moved by road.
How does insuring an AMT 215 PH differ from a 150 R?
The 215 PH measures 6.4 metres, the 150 R 4.5 metres. On the larger version value and cruising area carry more weight.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
