One model range is recorded for Agder: the Agder 880 TC, a motorboat built from 2007 to 2013. From our own portfolio, the 840 HT is additionally insured with us. For acceptance it makes no difference how old a boat is, where it was bought and how many previous owners it had.

The premium and the cover are determined by the type of boat, year of construction, value, engine power and cruising range, not by the name of the brand. We provide third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. In full hull cover you agree an agreed value, and in the event of a claim compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out cover online; above that we review the application on a case-by-case basis. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat.

Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The premium and the cover are determined by the type of boat, year of construction, value, engine power and cruising range, not by the origin of the boat.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration

Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.
