Two ranges carry the name Channel Islands: the 22 as a motor boat from 1975 to 1997 and the 32 as a motor yacht from 1990 to 1997. If an outboard or another part is stolen from such a boat, NAMMERT's full hull cover applies, which covers theft of parts including the outboard.
Theft of the entire boat, on the other hand, already belongs to limited hull cover, as do fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding and vandalism and calculates with an agreed value, so that compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Both ranges ended in 1997 and are sold used today. For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range count, not the manufacturer. When you switch from an existing contract, NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge.

Is a stolen outboard co-insured?
Theft of parts including the outboard is part of full hull cover. Theft of the complete boat is already covered by limited hull cover, as are fire, storm and lightning strike.
