Four motor boat model ranges are recorded, the 24 HCO, the 26 HBW, the 26 HCO and the 33 CSF, all in build since 2019 and to this day. With motor boats the engine output is one of the factors from which the premium is calculated, besides type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range.
If equipment is retrofitted or a more powerful engine is fitted, you should report it so that the schedule and the agreed value match the boat. Full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard and replaces collision, grounding and vandalism. In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit.
Since production is running, both new and young used units come into consideration. In both cases indemnity is paid according to the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we examine the individual case.

Does the premium change if I fit a more powerful engine?
The engine output is one of the factors for the premium. Report a change so that the schedule and the agreed value match the boat and hull cover reflects the actual value.
What does indemnity with no deduction for depreciation mean?
The value agreed when the contract was concluded is taken as the basis, the agreed value. A deduction for the age or use of the replaced parts does not take place.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
