Four model ranges are held on file, the 17 DC, the 17 SC, the 19 CC and the 1850 DC, all with years of construction between 2007 and 2015. Production therefore lies in the past, which is no obstacle for the insurance: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
For boats that have been in the portfolio for years, the agreed value is the decisive point. It fixes the compensation in advance; payment is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff without an age limit. In this way it remains calculable what a total loss will yield.
If you switch from an existing contract, NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros then forms the basis, supplemented by limited hull cover or full hull cover. A boat trailer runs along free of charge in the boat insurance.

How does a switch to NAMMERT work?
You report the boat and the existing contract to us. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge, so that you do not have to deal with the correspondence and switch without a gap in cover.
What does limited hull cover cover?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, by contrast, belong to full hull cover.
