Three motorboat ranges are recorded, the Infinity ZX-1, the LX-1 and the ZS-1, built between 1999 and 2007. Production therefore lies in the past, and the boats are around two decades old today. The agreed value in full hull cover is intended for exactly this situation.
It is set when cover is taken out and paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit, so the year of construction does not restrict the cover. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, and the boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
Hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. There is no time window and no night clause. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand.

Frequent questions
What exactly does agreed value mean?
It is the value of the boat set when cover is taken out. If a total loss occurs, we pay this sum with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), without any dispute about the current market value.
Does hull cover also apply at night?
Yes. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause. Damage is settled regardless of the time of day, including at the berth or in winter storage.
