The programme comprises sixty model ranges, among them the Predator 540, 570 and 650 Touring as inflatable boats as well as the Stingher types 22 GT, 22 Diablo, 27 GT, 28 GT and 29 Diamond as inflatable boats with engine. Construction has been running since 2005 and continues today. We carry both types in the same boat insurance, regardless of size.
With inflatable boats with an engine the drive is removable and becomes a risk of its own. Full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard, as well as vandalism, collision and grounding. Limited hull cover applies in the event of fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies during launching and in winter storage. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.

Frequent questions
Can an inflatable boat without an engine be insured in the same way?
Yes. Both types run under the same boat insurance. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, regardless of whether a drive is fitted.
Is the outboard replaced in the event of theft?
Under full hull cover theft of parts including the outboard is covered. Compensation is paid according to the agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
