With the katSol 16 and the katSol 16s, two cabin catamarans are recorded, built between 2015 and 2024. The product programme is therefore narrow, and no further model ranges are available. That is not an obstacle, because small series and home-built boats can be insured at NAMMERT.
For boats from a small series there is often no broad basis for comparison on the market. The value is therefore agreed by means of the agreed value and, in the event of a claim, is replaced with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. In this way the amount is fixed as early as when the policy is taken out.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies during launching, during craning, on transport and in winter storage.

On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
