Four motorboat ranges are available: the Atender 72 and the E-Tender 740 from the years 2017 to 2021, the MK540 from 2003 to 2020 and the Liberty 590 Tender from 2014 to 2019. For all of them the engine power determines the premium alongside the value, the year of construction and the cruising range.
The name of the yard never enters the calculation. Anyone who changes the engine or fits a more powerful one reports the change to us so that the rating is correct and the hull insurance applies in full in the event of a claim. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered by the full hull cover.
The build periods end between 2019 and 2021, so the boats are traded second hand. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle to acceptance. The agreed value records the agreed amount and is compensated with no deduction for depreciation.

Does a more powerful engine have to be reported?
Yes. The engine power is one of the premium characteristics. Report an engine change so that the contract reflects the actual power and the hull insurance applies in full.
