Five motor boat model ranges are on record: the 180 Amathunta since 2002, plus the 180 Amathunta Cabin, 180 Ostria, 180 Ostria BR and 230 Tornado since 2012, all still in the programme today. Where these boats are used, on inland waters or on the coast, is one of the details in the contract.
The cruising range is one of the calculation figures, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine output. The brand itself never feeds into the premium. For trips across the border the international certificate of insurance is available automatically in ten languages.
Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, limited hull cover adds fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.

Do I have to state the waters in which I sail?
Yes. The cruising range is one of the details from which the premium is derived, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine output. Report any change of waters subsequently.
What applies in the event of a grounding with the 230 Tornado?
Grounding is covered by full hull cover, as are collision, vandalism and theft of parts. Compensation is paid on the basis of the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
