We have no model ranges on record for this brand. We say so openly instead of claiming a build list that does not exist. For the insurance this has no consequence: the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output or sail area and cruising range, never on the brand.

What is decisive, then, is the boat itself. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, selectable as Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it, with an agreed value and settlement with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well, as can boats regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude the policy online, above that we assess the individual case. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Frequent questions

What happens if no model ranges are recorded for a brand?

That changes nothing for the policy. What matters are the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output or sail area and cruising range. The brand never enters the premium.

Can home-built boats be covered as well?

Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured. The value is agreed as an agreed value, full hull cover settles claims with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration

Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Waters

Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.

Equipment

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

Cruising range

The agreed cruising range is stated in the policy and can be extended at any time.
