Five ranges of cabin catamarans have been running since 2017 and 2018 respectively and continue today, among them the Minicat 310, 420, 460 and Guppy. Boats that switch between trailer and water need protection on both sides. At NAMMERT the boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
During launching, during craning, in transit and in winter storage the cover remains in place. Damage in winter storage is already part of limited hull cover, together with fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat, with no separate agreement.
Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and indemnifies according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The premium follows type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area or engine power and cruising range, never the brand.

Is the trailer included in the premium?
Yes. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. A separate contract is not necessary for this, and the cover also applies in transit.
What applies when launching and hauling out?
The cover exists during launching and during craning just as it does in winter storage.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
