Under the name Poseidon, 60 model ranges are recorded, among them the 6.75 Classic and the 6.75 Sloep since 2013, the 795 Pro Tour since 2015 and the 895 Pro Diving since 2016. No uniform type of boat is recorded for the name, and no country of origin either, and we add nothing.
For the insurance this is of no consequence, because the policy follows the individual boat. Type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range determine the premium, plus the engine power or the sail area depending on the boat. The name of the manufacturer never enters into the calculation.
Under the full hull cover an agreed value is arranged and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, plus, under the limited hull cover, fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage.

What information do you need for an 8.95 Pro Tour?
Type of boat, value, year of construction, cruising range and, depending on the boat, engine power or sail area. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows.
Why is there nothing here about the type of boat behind the name Poseidon?
Because nothing verified is recorded about it. Individual ranges such as the 620 W are listed as motor boats, but what is decisive for the policy remains the type of boat of the specific boat.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
