Parts are easier to steal than whole boats. That is why full hull cover at NAMMERT includes theft of parts including the outboard, while theft of the complete boat is already handled by limited hull cover. There is no time window and no night clause.
Stockholm Boats AB is recorded with two motorboats, the Lynxmar C26 and the Lynxmar O20. Both ranges have been running since 2020 and are still built today. We have no further models, and we do not add anything on this. For the contract the data of the individual boat is sufficient.
For newer motorboats the same calculation applies as for older ones: the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range determine the premium. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit.

Frequent questions
How is a removable outboard covered?
Through full hull cover, which includes theft of parts including the outboard. For theft of the entire boat the limited hull cover of the contract is already sufficient.
Is an agreed value worthwhile for a new boat as well?
It sets in binding form the amount that is paid in the event of a claim, with no deduction for depreciation. The compensation therefore remains predictable over the years.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
