Sixty model ranges are recorded, among them the Sun Runner 171, the CCF models 180 to 230, the 2700 Sport Cruiser, Sunsport 215 B, Ultra 292 and Vision 1750. The years of construction lie close together, between 1986 and 1994. An assignment to a segment is missing; value, year of construction and engine power are decisive for the classification.

A programme of this breadth thus ended more than three decades ago. For boats from these years the agreed value is the core of the contract: the value is agreed in advance and indemnified in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.

Insurance is provided regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Alongside collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage.

Frequent questions

Why is the agreed value important on old boats?

It fixes the value before the loss. Indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit, so that age does not reduce the benefit.

How many previous owners are permitted?

There is no limit. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners; what matters are type of boat, value, engine power and cruising range.
