Worth knowing
Venaboats; cover, cost and conditions
In our records, Venaboats covers 9 models built since 2008, mostly small motorboats. The Vena series ranges from the Vena 310 through the console variants 330 and 370 up to the Vena 707 and the Vena 750. Lengths run from 3.1 to 7.5 m.
All Vena models are trailerable sizes. For insurance, liability cover is the foundation, and hull cover should include transport on the trailer. The value of the individual boat should be stated precisely in the policy.
NAMMERT insures Venaboats regardless of build year and place of purchase. If you are looking for Vena insurance, the online calculator shows your premium in about 5 minutes.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
