Worth knowing
White Shark F.B.M.; cover, cost and conditions
Three motorboats are recorded under White Shark F.B.M., the 250 CC Origin and the 270 SC Origin since 2018 as well as the 280 CC Evo since 2020, all up to the present day. With motorboats, the engine output is one of the factors from which the premium is derived.
Added to this are the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range, while the brand stays out of it. If the engine is changed later, you should report this so that the contract matches the boat. Theft of parts including the outboard is part of full hull cover.
Because all three ranges continue, the boats are still young. Full hull cover nevertheless pays compensation according to an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and on the road.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does a more powerful engine affect the premium?
Yes. The engine output counts alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. A later change should be reported so that the contract remains correct.
Is an agreed value worthwhile for a young boat?
Yes. The value is then fixed before a claim ever occurs and is compensated with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Series by White Shark F.B.M., build years and cover
250 CC Origin is a motorboat from White Shark F.B.M., built since 2018.
270 SC Origin is a motorboat from White Shark F.B.M., built since 2018.
280 CC Evo is a motorboat from White Shark F.B.M., built since 2020.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
