The GulfShore 26 has been running since 2019, the only motor boat listed for Young Boats. No further ranges are on file. Before taking out the policy comes the question of how high third-party liability is set, because it is the basis on which everything else is built.
A limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is available, graded across the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariff levels. Limited hull cover or full hull cover can be built on top of it. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause, not even during periods at the berth.
Because the range is still being built today, new boats and the first second-hand boats meet. In both cases an agreed value is arranged and compensation is made with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range.

What limit of indemnity is appropriate for a motor boat of this size?
Third-party liability can be selected with 10 to 50 million euros. The level is set when the policy is taken out and depends among other things on the cruising range and the use.
Does the cover also apply at night at the berth?
Yes. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause. Winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route are included as well.

GulfShore 26 is a motorboat from Young Boats, built since 2019.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
