Worth knowing
ADH Inotec; cover, cost and conditions
The Diam 24 was built as a cabin trimaran between 2011 and 2020 and today changes hands second-hand. When buying second-hand, what counts for the policy is not the price paid but the value you need for replacement. It is exactly this amount that we record as an agreed value in full hull cover.
Multihulls lie in the harbour and on the slipway differently from monohulls, and damage occurs more quickly during craning and rigging than out on the water. Our cover therefore does not end at the jetty: it applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and along the transport route, with no time window and no night clause.
We have no information on further model ranges from ADH Inotec, and for the insurance that makes no difference. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never on the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis of every policy.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How is the value of a second-hand Diam 24 determined?
We arrange an agreed value. In the event of a claim we pay out this sum with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Replacement is thus covered independently of the purchase price.
Does the cover also apply when rigging and unrigging ashore?
Yes. Hull cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and along the transport route. There is no time window and no night clause, the cover runs continuously.

Series by ADH Inotec, build years and cover
Diam 24 is a cabin trimaran from ADH Inotec, built from 2011 to 2020.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a trimaran the floats and their beams are the weak point, on folding models the mechanism as well.
