A cabin trimaran taken over second hand first raises the question of value. For the Advance Cruising C 329, which has been in the programme since 2018, we agree an agreed value when full hull cover is taken out. That sum is stated in the policy and is paid out in the event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis of every policy, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. There is no time window and no night clause in hull insurance.
With one recorded model range the programme is narrow, which makes no difference to the premium calculation. What matters is the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range, never the name of the yard. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we examine each case individually.

How is an Advance Cruising C 329 valued under full hull cover?
We agree an agreed value. If a total loss occurs, we pay out that sum with no deduction for depreciation. In the Premium tariff this arrangement applies with no age limit.
Does cover remain in place during craning and in winter storage?
Yes. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transit. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

Advance Cruising C 329 is a cabin trimaran from Advancecruising.fr, built since 2018.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a trimaran the floats and their beams are the weak point, on folding models the mechanism as well.
