A single model range is recorded, the motor boat Advance with years of build from 1988 to 1994. Production therefore lies far back, and only used boats are on the water today. For hulls like these NAMMERT agrees an agreed value which applies in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
A year of build from the eighties or nineties is no reason for exclusion. We provide cover regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners, and in the Premium tariff the age limit in full hull cover does not apply. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.
Beyond this one range no further model data are available. That is irrelevant for the premium, because it is based on the type of boat, value, year of build, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis.

How is an Advance from the nineties valued?
Through an agreed value which is set when the policy is taken out. In the event of a claim, settlement is made with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without an age limit, even with a year of build of 1988.
Does it matter how many previous owners the boat has had?
No. We provide cover regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners. What matters is the type of boat, value, engine power and cruising range. If an old contract is still running, NAMMERT cancels it free of charge.
