Arctic Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Between the trailer and the water lies a stretch on which damage can occur. From Arctic Boats we have a single model range on record, the motor boat Arctic Sloep 727 with construction years from 2019 to 2023. For a boat of this kind the trailer runs along at no extra premium, and launching is included without a surcharge.
Further details on the programme or the size are not available to us, and for the policy this is of no consequence. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Limited hull cover applies in the case of fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does including the trailer cost a surcharge?
No. Boat trailers run along in the boat insurance at no extra premium. The cover also includes craning, launching, winter storage and the transport route between two berths.
Does it matter that only one model range is known?
No. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand or the number of model ranges. Small series and home-built boats are insurable too.

Series by Arctic Boats, build years and cover
Arctic Sloep 727 is a motorboat from Arctic Boats, built from 2019 to 2023.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
