B2 Marine is recorded with 53 models, 50 of them motorboats. The core is the Cap Ferret range, running from the 472 at 4.7 m through the 522, 552 and 572 to the 652 at 6.4 m, each as Open, Cruiser or Sun Deck. The Blue Djinn sailing boat at 6.2 m joins them. The whole range sits between 4.5 and 7.2 m, with recorded production from 1996 into the current model years.
Every B2 Marine model stays under 7.5 m and is therefore trailerable, which gives the cover a clear structure: liability is the basis, since it responds to damage to other boats, pontoons and people. Hull cover should expressly include road transport, craning and slipping, along with the outboard and theft protection. On the Cruiser versions with a cabin it is also worth reviewing the equipment, because it belongs in the declared value.

Road transport can be included in the hull cover. For the Cap Ferret range this is the usual route, since almost every model is trailerable.
Do Open, Cruiser and Sun Deck differ in the policy?
The hull is the same, the equipment is not. Cabin, upholstery and canopy feed into the declared value, so the agreed figure can differ between versions.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
