Older motor boats are no special case for us. The Tramp 22, the only documented model range from Baltic Yachting, was built between 1999 and 2008; today these boats change owners on the used market. Under the full hull cover we agree an agreed value for them, and in the event of a total loss this value is replaced with no deduction for depreciation, no matter how old the boat has become in the meantime.
The Tramp 22 is rated like any motor boat according to value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range; the brand itself does not influence the premium. The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, and with the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels you decide how far your cover goes beyond that.
When buying second or third hand, we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. If a contract already exists, we take care of the switch and cancel the previous contract free of charge; taking out the policy online is possible up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros. A Tramp 22 taken over in this way therefore remains insured without a gap.

By means of an agreed value: when the policy is taken out, the realistic replacement value is agreed, and this amount applies in the event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation.
Is the trailer of a Tramp 22 included in the boat insurance?
Yes, boat trailers are included at no extra premium. Yes. Cover also applies in winter storage and during craning, launching and transport.
