What do the letters L, LT and LX mean at Bennington?
They are the yard's trim lines, and the number after them is the length in feet. An L 22 is therefore around 7.2 m long. For premium and cover it is not the line that counts but the actual length, the engine power and the value of the boat.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
