De Drait Yachting; cover, cost and conditions
Two motorboat ranges are recorded, the De Drait Bunbo 1160 with years of construction from 2010 to 2018 and the DrachtsterSloep, which was built from 2004 to 2018. Both production periods ended in 2018. For a purchase at second hand we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports.
It takes effect in disputes following the purchase of a used boat as well as in disagreements with a yard. This also covers the case in which a dispute about the condition of the boat arises after handover. The legal expenses cover supplements third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover.
The previous history has no effect on hull cover. We insure irrespective of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, agree an agreed value and indemnify with no deduction for depreciation. If a former policy is still running, we cancel it free of charge in the switching service.

What does legal expenses cover for water sports provide?
It is offered in addition to the boat insurance and takes effect, for example, in a dispute following the purchase of a used boat or in disagreements with a yard.
How does the switch from an existing policy work?
Through the switching service: NAMMERT cancels the former policy free of charge. You take out the policy online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros; above that we examine the individual case.
