Etap 20: cover, cost and conditions
The Etap 20 is recorded with us as a sailing boat and sails in our own portfolio, alongside four further Etap models. On sailing boats, sail area takes the place of engine power when it comes to classifying the boat and setting the premium.
Besides sail area, the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range count. The model name stays out of it. Club regattas are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards. Please state races with scoring status when you take out the policy, so that they are properly recorded in the contract.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros carries the cover. Full hull cover adds an agreed value, collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts, settled with no deduction for depreciation. Winter storage, craning, launching and transport are also covered.

A used Etap 20 built between 1981 and 1992 in average condition is typically worth between €4,600
