An Ewave V2 6000 is already sailing in our own portfolio, so the brand is no stranger to us. We do not keep a model catalogue for Ewave, and for the contract that is irrelevant: what is insured is your specific boat with its type of boat, its value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range.

Between the seasons it becomes clear how good a contract really is. At NAMMERT the cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and launching and in transit. The limited hull cover expressly covers damage in winter storage, plus fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat. Your boat is therefore covered all year round.

If you switch to us from another insurer, we cancel the previous contract free of charge. That way you move your Ewave to the new contract without double premiums and without unprotected days.

Frequent questions

Is my Ewave V2 6000 also protected while being craned into winter storage?

Yes. The cover applies during craning, during launching, in transit and in winter storage itself. The limited hull cover expressly names damage in winter storage as an insured peril.

Ewave is a small brand. Does that matter for acceptance or premium?

No. We insure regardless of the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, including small series. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand. A V2 6000 is already sailing in our portfolio.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration

Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Waters

Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.

Equipment

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

Cruising range

The agreed cruising range is stated in the policy and can be extended at any time.

Weather

Check wind force in Beaufort and wind direction before casting off, and allow for gusts.
