Four motor boat ranges run under the name Global: the Mirage 16 GT from 1984 to 2004, the Sabre 14 until 1994, the Global Sceptre 13 until 1993 and the Wohler Portofino from 1986 to 1992. All production periods have ended, which is of no significance for the insurance cover, because we insure irrespective of the year of construction.
Boats of this kind often sit on the trailer. At NAMMERT the boat trailer runs along in the boat insurance at no extra premium, and the cover applies during launching, during craning, on the transport route and in winter storage. There is no time window and no night clause in hull insurance.
The premium results from the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
