Since 2023 the programme has included three motorboat ranges with the Ayros XA 22, XA 24 and XC 22, which are carried to this day. With newer boats part of the value lies in electronics and permanently installed equipment, which therefore belong in the schedule attached to the contract and enter into the agreed value.
What you state when taking out the policy determines the indemnity later on. We record the value as an agreed value and pay with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered in the full hull cover, along with collision, grounding and vandalism.
For a boat in current production the same framework applies as for older ones: third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros as the basis, premium according to type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we assess each case individually.

Frequent questions
Do I have to list the electronics individually?
Equipment and electronics permanently belonging to the boat belong in the schedule drawn up when the policy is taken out. They enter into the agreed value on which we indemnify in the event of a claim.
Are stolen individual parts covered?
In the full hull cover, theft of parts including the outboard is included. Theft of the whole boat, on the other hand, falls under the limited hull cover.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
