This set of Haber Yachts records covers 27 models: 13 motorboats, eight sailing yachts, four motor yachts and two sailing boats. Build years start in 1996 and lengths run from 5.4 to 12.5 m. The range is shaped by the Haber 20 Mini Reporter with its diesel and semi planing versions, the 33 Reporter, the 620 and 660 sailing models as sloop and cutter, and the larger 32C4 and 34C4 cutters.
Because small cabin boats and twelve metre yachts sit in the same range, length, value and cruising area are decisive. The small models up to about seven metres are trailerable, so transport belongs in the policy, while the larger ones stay afloat and need arrangements for winter storage and craning. For build years from the late 1990s an agreed value makes more sense than actual cash value.

Yes. At roughly 6.5 to 7.2 m depending on the version, trailer transport belongs in the cover, as does storage ashore.
What separates insuring a 660 Sloop from a 34C4 Cutter?
Mainly size: 6.8 m against 12.5 m means a different value, a different cruising area and a different berth situation. Both are recorded in the same way, though.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
