Small, but documented: from Jaba we list the BA 4208 model range, a motor boat from the years 2017 to 2021. In our own portfolio there is also a BA 4240 and a Cora 430 of this brand. The fact that a yard builds only a few ranges changes nothing about insurability; what matters are the data of your boat.

Anyone buying a used Jaba buys privately or from a dealer, and not every purchase remains free of dispute. NAMMERT therefore also offers legal expenses cover for water sports, which covers for example a dispute after the purchase of a used boat or with a yard. In this way, alongside the boat, your claims relating to the purchase are covered as well.

For the contract itself the following applies: the premium follows type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand. The boat trailer is included free of charge, and full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard. A motor boat such as the BA 4208 is thus covered together with engine and trailer in a single contract.

Does NAMMERT help with a dispute with the seller after the purchase of a used Jaba?

For that we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports. Among other things it covers a dispute after the purchase of a used boat or with a yard, and it supplements third-party liability and hull insurance.

Does NAMMERT also insure Jaba models outside the catalogue, such as the Cora 430?

Yes. A Cora 430 is already sailing in our own portfolio. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners; what counts are the data of the individual boat.
