Worth knowing
KL Nautic; cover, cost and conditions
Two model ranges are on record, the KL Miniji sailing boat from the years 1993 to 2000 and the KL 17.5 Régate S cabin catamaran from 1993 to 1999. Both build periods lie in the past. For boats of this age, the agreed value in full hull cover is the decisive point.
It is set when the policy is taken out and applies in the Premium tariff with no age limit. In the event of a loss the settlement is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). We insure regardless of build year, place of purchase and previous owners, so that the third or fourth owner receives the same cover.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races carrying ranking status are declared when you take out the policy. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching.

Series by KL Nautic, build years and cover
KL Miniji is a sailing boat from KL Nautic, built from 1993 to 2000.
KL 17.5 Régate S is a cabin catamaran from KL Nautic, built from 1993 to 1999.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
