Switching to NAMMERT begins with the cancellation of the previous contract, and we take care of that free of charge. This applies to a motor boat such as the Etiuda MK.770, which has been built since 2016 and is still in production today, just as it does to older boats. The new cover then follows on without a gap.
The new contract rests on third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be added, full hull cover with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Because the model range is built continuously, young and older boats meet one another. What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we assess the individual case.

How does switching from another insurer work?
You take out the policy with NAMMERT and we cancel the previous contract free of charge. That way no gap arises in the cover. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.
Which tariff levels are available to choose from?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Depending on the level, third-party liability ranges from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, and from Basis-Plus upwards club races are included.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
